If you are like most business owners who we talk to about growing their business you probably have a lot of questions, such as, how much will this cost, how much time will this take, when do I see results, etc. etc.
And we don’t blame you, if we were in your shoes we would feel the same way and want to know as much information as possible before making a decision on wether or not to work with us.
However, unfortunately this is not a typical decision.
You see, when you work with us (Supernova) you are not buying a product or a specific service, you are buying Supernova.
Let me explain…
Imagine you and a doctor are sitting on the edge of a water fountain in the middle of a park during the day, and you point to a random individual walking in the park and ask the doctor, “how would you fix that person’s health?”
What do you think the doctor would say?
They don’t know that person, they don’t know if that person has diabetes, or cancer, or depression, or has a cracked rib, or a broken heart, or if they are totally fine. So their response would most likely be, “I have no clue” or some very generalized statement like, “eat good, exercise regularly, and get 8 hours of sleep.” And that’s because they wouldn’t really be able to help that random individual walking in the park until they learned more about THEIR situation.

Now this can vary depending on multiple factors such as how we choose to grow your business and how involved you want to be in the process of growing your business, but on average most business owners spend about 15 hours over the course of a few months, working with us to grow their business. And this time is usually spent learning about their business and getting their feedback on how we are growing their business.
How much effort will working with Supernova take on my end?
This can vary depending on multiple factors like how organized your company is and how exactly we are growing your business, but on average our offer is 90% done for you, so that way you can focus your effort on running your business or whatever is most important to you.
How long till I see results working with Supernova?
This can vary depending on multiple factors like your goals, your business’s current circumstances, your resources, how we are going to grow your business, your schedule etc. but typically the time it takes to see value working with Supernova is 2 to 3 months, and this is from the time of our first meeting, to the tailored plan we created for you being executed/implemented. Now if you just want to know how long it takes for you to see results once one of our plan is typically implemented and up and running, its usually just a few days.
How much will it cost me to work with Supernova?
$0 we will grow your business on a performance basis and we will only make money when we grow your business. So our service is essentially free because you will be paying us a portion of the growth within your business.
Will Supernova invest money to grow my business?
Typically the answer is no, because if we do invest money in your business we will take a greater portion of the growth we generate for you, and therefore most businesses would rather cover the cost themselves. However most of the time we are able to come up with a cost effective solution to grow a business insanely quick without breaking the bank. But if we determine we need capital to grow your business, we can always pull it out of your business (it will feel like pulling money out of thin air) with one of our strategies, or get outside capital.
As the owner of my company do I have to be the one working directly with Supernova or can I have somebody else on my team work with Supernova to grow my business?
You can have somebody on your team work with us but we highly recommend that the owner works directly with us because this is their business and we are going to be making changes to their company.
Why doesn’t Supernova work with everyone?
We do not work with everyone for 2 reasons.
- We don’t have the bandwidth to work with every company we come across.
- Between our tailored plans specifically suited to grow each one of the companies we work with, coupled with our performance based offer, it makes NO sense (or cents) to work with every business we come across. In fact, that’s why we only work with a few companies at a time, that way we can allocate our resources accordingly, and also make a lot of money with the companies we do work with.
How long will Supernova grow my business for? How long will our relationship last?
Typically this varies as most companies want us to stick around and have us keep growing their companies forever. However with other companies we only work with them for a few months.
What types of businesses does Supernova work with?
As Harrington Emerson, the famous American efficiency engineer and business theorist once said, “As to methods, there may be a million and then some, but principles are few. The man who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods. The man who tries methods, ignoring principles, is sure to have trouble.” And, the way we grow businesses is based off or principles, not methods. Therefore we are able to grow any type of business in any industry. B2C, B2B, start ups, e-commerce companies, SAAS companies, dog grooming companies, solar companies, real estate brokerages, etc. etc. because we rely on universally applicable principles, that are as predictable as gravity and work in any and every business environment.
How big does my business need to be to work with Supernova?
A lot of people think their company has to be making millions and millions of dollars per year in order to work with us, but just because a lot of our clients fit that criteria, that doesn’t mean we will turn down your business simply because of its size. We look at a lot of other factors when considering working with a company, and because we can always transform a small company into a large company in a short amount of time, size is not a factor we focus too much on.
How much does supernova charge?
$0. We will grow your business and get a portion of that growth. Now how much will that portion be, well that depends on how much work we are doing as well as other factors like if we are investing our own money into your company or not. But point is, our service is essentially free because you are only paying us when we grow your business, and you are paying us a portion of that growth, so working with us is really an infinite ROI.
Why will Supernova grow my business for essentially free?
Because we will get a portion of the growth we bring your company. So we will be paid, its just going to feel as if we are working for free because we will be paid once you see results and a portion of those results.
How does supernova get paid?
This can vary but typically from company to company but we can be paid in a few different ways such as…
- Transactionally
- Residually
- Royalties
- Licensing
- Equity
- A combination of multiple options from above
When does Supernova get paid?
If and only if we grow your company. So after we provide results.
What makes Supernova different than other entities claiming they can grow your business?
Charlie Munger famously said, “Show me the incentive and I’ll show you the outcome.” And this is exactly what makes Supernova different. Other entities claim that they can grow your business, but will charge you by the hour or by the project. And what does that incentivize them to do? Either take up as much time as yours as possible, or to do a lousy job as quickly as possible, so that way they can move on to the next project and make more money. But here at Supernova we don’t charge by the hour, or per project. We’re unique and confident enough to make our offer performance based, in a way where we don’t win unless you win, and the more you win the more we win. So because our offer is structured this way, we are heavily incentivized to only work with a few companies at a time, that we think we can really help succeed, that way we can make as much money as possible.
What can I expect working with Supernova?
This can vary, but if you make it past the application process typically when we work with a company it goes like this.
- We have a first meeting to learn about your business.
- We have a second meeting where we dig deeper into areas of your business that caught our attention during our first meeting.
- We have a third meeting where we ask you a final few questions and then present you the opportunities we have created specifically for your business. During this meeting we will choose one opportunity to pursue.
- We have a fourth meeting where we dive deeper into the opportunity and come up with a detailed plan of execution, roles, KPIs etc.
- We have a fifth meeting where we finalize everything we have talked about in the fourth meeting.
- We execute and grow your business.
